Its paradoxical to have a corporation protect your privacy in many cases, since they are going to take your information in order to try to protect it.

@markwbuse @johnrobb I'm doubtful that this informal domino effect of deplatforming Parler could be considered racketeering, collusion or conspiracy. They are all independent companies that are supporting the same conclusions: people & courts say Biden/Harris won, fake news and violence suck!

@johnrobb If DemoRats in government were not so utterly corrupt, there are plenty of protections in federal law against the racketeering collusion conspiracy being perpetrated against Parler. Find an honest federal judge.

@johnrobb I disagree, we have power to create all of this tech ourselves, particularly with Open Source. It may cost more, and there are costs with transitioning, but power comes with knowledge. Power comes with being in a business where networks support you. Networks don't like violence!

In other words. The networked corporations have far more power over your life than the government does. We have protections against government power. Zero against network power.
