@AlextheAdm1ral People who hate Chase not only dont even have a good reason to hate him, but dont even know WHY they hate him to begin with. People hate Chase "just for the sake of hating him" & its sad, because hes a good kid, a great driver, never has controversy around him, & hes likeable.

The only year he hasn’t been in the mix until the final transfer race is the year he broke his leg. So your assessment of his advancement skills isn’t based in reality

"Damaging the sport." Are you kidding? Last night after winning he went into the stands. Last week he was rated one of the 6 drivers for engagement with the public. He has done all manner of publicity for the sport this week alone around the children's cancer initiative. Did you see the girl on the track with him on crutches? There have been stories all week long about this. Chase Elliott owes you nothing. He doesn't have to do a podcast or a cable TV tell-all show to satisfy you and he's the best thing this sport has going besides perhaps Larson on a PR basis.

@BurnzyBased @BarkosBite @jeff_gluck I think the real problem for me is...Iv always been a fan of the best car or cars win...Daytona, Dega, ATL...never or rarely is the case. It's not so much about racing for me. It's the principle of it. The best cars should be racing for the win.
