@Col45398669 I had taxed the car earlier that day, just bought it. They delayed the call out an hour whilst I was on hold to DVLA getting them to email me confirmation that I had vehicle tax, before they would even start a case.

@FalloonMark I’ve had similar, they left me 200 miles from home as my MOT had run out the day before. Horrible company.

A big sarcastic thanks to the @TheRAC_UK today with whom I have been a member for well over 5 years. My car broke down 15 miles from at around 1310. I was on the busy A41 Whitchurch Road in a lay-by. ETA for patrol 1830-2130. At 1830 the eta slipped to between 1820-0030

Yesterday was a very special and historic day for Caledonian Sleeper as we picked up guests from Birmingham International for the first time - the biggest change to our timetable in 30 years! 🚆 Guests can now board at Birmingham International and travel directly to Fort William, Inverness or Aberdeen. Our Managing Director Graham Kelly was joined by Andrew Lovett from West Midlands Tourism & Hospitality Board, Cllr. Karen Grinsall from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Helen Bates from Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Steven Harrison from Birmingham Airport, Peter Sargant of West Midlands Rail and Nikki Bains from Birmingham Airport.

(Had two of these and really liked them, most are low-ish spec, high spec ones are harder to come by but worth it) 2009-2014 Volvo XC90 2.4 D5 5-Pot Auto. (SE Lux trim with the Dynaudio, Sunroof, Light Leather & Bi-Xenon’s for me spec wise)

@joncoupland A BMW 635d. It had been tuned by the previous owner, decat etc etc. it was smelly, Smokey and an embarrassment to drive. I sold it as soon as the V5 arrived.

I’ve always fancied a Land Rover Defender 90 or 110 station wagon but can’t for the life of me work out why they are so expensive??? Just seen an advert for a TD5 Station Wagon, 04 reg, 140k no doubt will need work and in ‘well used’ condition. All for £21k!!! Why? #LandRover

I’ve been away for a little while on annual leave, but things didn’t quite go how I hoped. Unfortunately, I recently experienced a miscarriage and it’s completely knocked the wind out of me. I’m devastated, so I’ve been keeping to myself to protect my own peace and try to process what’s happened. ‌ I’ll be taking a bit more time away from socials while I get my head around everything. However, I wanted to share this video of me driving through Mancetter in happier times before I went off.
