Yesterday, AA4464 was cleared to land RWY31L at JFK, while AC8554 was cleared 31R. AA4464’s turn to runway heading brought it close enough to AC8554 that both aircraft responded to TCAS RAs and went around. The flights landed safely a short time later. flightradar24.com/multiview/2026…

A new NBA arena project — with private jet parking — has entered the fray. The 21,212-seat Las Vegas Diamond Arena is proposed for the south Strip, across from Mandalay Bay. No casino affiliation, which developers say gives a future ownership group more flexibility.

Every time I look up at the Moon now, even the one at Space Center Houston, it feels different. It’s no longer just a distant light in the night sky — it’s a place I’ve studied up close with my own eyes. I find myself tracing its features, recognizing the shadows, the craters, the quiet stories written across its surface. The Moon hasn’t changed, but now when I observe it, it comes back to life in my mind with a new and treasured perspective.

Southwest Airlines has confirmed that one of its flights was forced to take evasive action to avoid colliding with another flight at Nashville International Airport over the weekend. Southwest reports that while approaching BNA amid gusty wind conditions, pilots of Southwest Flight 507 executed a precautionary go-around. During that action, the pilots used instructions from air traffic control and an onboard traffic alert to avoid conflicting with Southwest Flight 1152, which was departing from another runway. Flight 507 was able to land after the go-around and Flight 1152 continued to its destination in Knoxville. “We are engaged with the FAA as part of the investigation. Southwest appreciates the professionalism of its Pilots and Flight Crews in responding to the event. Nothing is more important to Southwest than the Safety of our Customers and Employees,” the airline said in a statement. Video: @flightradar24

New: bomb threat made against United flight 2408 before departing DEN, per airport spox. Emergency vehicles responded and pax are in the process of deplaning. According to data from Flightradar24, plane turned around shortly before reaching the runway at 6:15pm local time.
