The whole controversy over @GoodwinMJ's book reminds me of the early warning sign that Rachel Reeves' dodgy footnotes provided about her. @reformparty_uk should now fully investigate Mr Goodwin's book and if there are repeated examples of factual error he should be removed from the candidates list. We need our future MPs to be trustworthy and credible.

In honour of William Shatner’s 95th birthday, I've just watched Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982)... again. The Mutara Nebula battle is still stunning, and presenting starships-as-submarines running blind is pure genius. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Interesting. Standing up to Trump - despite the opprobrium of much of our media as keen to commit to war in Iran as they were to Iraq disastrously 20 years ago - paying electoral dividends. The public remembers even if the press does not.
