I've been playing fifa 14 career mode the past week and it's an absolute joy. People debate the nostalgia stuff, "you just think it's better because you were younger" but fifa for me is objectively one where they used to be better.

@rollininmone @AdamGibson112 @tantex02 I think it was fifa 22 me and my mate were talking about some starter teams with 78 rateds and we surpassed it after our starter packs. The whole thing of the game gone when loading it up haha - I stopped FUT once I saw 500k packs, they don’t hide it anymore and it’s pretty grim

He was a cheat code, I got about 150 goals with an 82 rated card and barely took him out my team. The power curve is that broke that you go in with an 82 with these statsnow you’ll be made to look a mug

Mate the game just used to be more about fun than it did being sweaty. Even the new tactic system is so shit because you can lose the game before it even starts if someone has the meta op tactics.
Don’t even get me started on playstyles😭😭
Defending is genuinely woeful now you can’t go and try win a challenge because you’ll just get spun by some guy moving like a fidget spinner with Pina😭😭😭

@rollininmone @AdamGibson112 @tantex02 From the sample size I get of the game it looks woeful and I don’t get how people can still play weekend league - unresponsive AI (I had my clubs AI nick the ball off me about 65 times that session) certain playstyles just being OP and skill moves now being almost ineffective
