A new watchdog report from the Government Accountability Oversight Project alleges that President Donald Trump directed $3 billion in federal funds toward his own properties and political allies. The report claims this was achieved through a series of classified security agreements and no-bid contracts authorized during his final year in office. Investigators suggest that emergency national security designations allowed these properties to receive federal payments at rates significantly higher than market value. The most substantial allegation involves a $1.2 billion security agreement at Mar-a-Lago, an amount that reportedly exceeds the security budget of any private residence in U.S. history. While the Trump legal team has dismissed these findings as a partisan attack, federal investigators are currently reviewing the data. If verified, this would represent the largest alleged self-dealing scheme by a president in the history of the United States. Critics have noted that the funds in question were drawn from the national treasury, which traditionally supports essential services such as veterans' hospitals and disaster relief. While no formal charges have been filed, the scale of the alleged diverted funds has sparked intense debate over executive accountability. The Government Accountability Office has yet to issue a formal comment on the specific findings of the report.

FUN FACT: Absolutely NO ONE has blockaded the Strait of Hormuz. Not Trump, not Iran. Iran started a rumor that it had mined the strait, which now looks untrue, & insurance companies refused to cover ships due to the risk. Iran is incapable of a blockade, as the US destroyed its navy. Trump is currently blockading ship traffic to/from IRANIAN PORTS. He's not blocking the strait. No one ever blocked the strait. The American media sucks, & keeps repeating that for some bizarre reason.

British people today are shocked to find out that their nation is poorer than Mississippi as they call us “swamp dwelling hillbillies.” Maybe the UK should spend less time sneering at Mississippi and more time trying to follow our lead!

This is a Ukrainian boy, Bohdan. He will forever be eight years old. Yesterday, a Russian drone killed Bohdan as he was playing on a playground in Cherkasy. Bohdan sang in the church choir. Deepest condolences... Russian terrorism must be stopped.

Election fraud by FIDESZ caught on tape! People are entering voting spaces, not letting the public vote privately. Theyre checking whether they crossed the "right" circle. Absolutely disgusting. This is what we're up against in Hungary.

In the grand tradition of the Senior Service (and the Bootnecks who sail with them), the Royal Navy has just spent ten thoroughly miserable days playing the world’s most expensive game of hide-and-seek in the English Channel and North Sea. Between 29 March and 7 April, ships including HMS Mersey, HMS Somerset, HMS St Albans and the tanker RFA Tideforce, backed by Wildcat and Merlin helicopters, shadowed four Russian Navy vessels – a frigate, a landing ship, a destroyer, an oiler, and a surfaced Kilo-class submarine (Krasnodar). Because nothing says “good morning” like a Russian sub popping up near your back door. Portsmouth-based HMS Mersey was scrambled three separate times. First to track the Ropucha-class landing ship Aleksandr Shabalin near Ushant, then again to intercept the frigate Admiral Grigorovich as it headed for the Strait of Dover. That second outing came with the added joy of Storm Dave throwing a full-on tantrum – high winds, rough seas, and the sort of weather that makes even hardened matelots (if that's a thing 😉) question their career choices. Meanwhile, Type 23 frigate HMS Somerset picked up the Russian Udaloy-class destroyer Severomorsk and its oiler off Brittany, keeping a polite but very close eye using every radar and sensor she could muster. Sister ship HMS St Albans popped in for a quick handover as Somerset took over four months of Operation Ceto duties in the North Atlantic – monitoring submarine activity and guarding those vital undersea cables that keep the internet (and a fair bit of national security) running. Lieutenant George Hage, Executive Officer of HMS Mersey, put it perfectly with that classic understated Navy pride: “Our ability to provide a presence to monitor the Russian activity in UK waters is no small feat – especially with the increase we’ve seen lately. I’m extremely proud of the ship’s company for delivering Mersey to the frontline yet again.” Commander Matt Millyard, Commanding Officer of HMS Somerset, added: “The months ahead promise a complex mix of tasking… but we’re ready and we look forward to the challenge.” Translation for anyone who’s ever worn a green beret: “Ivan’s been sniffing around again. We watched him the whole way. Business as usual.”
