I find it odd that many sites have Dante Moore at 20 years old right now (born in May 2005) but then here he says he was 17yo in 2023 while playing at UCLA (implies 2006 birthdate) So either everyone has the wrong date and he’s 19 right now, or he’s fibbing for no reason. 🤷🏻 🤔

@tyromper The first six months I worried my kid didn’t care about me or like me… the last few years I can’t leave a room without him following me. My wife points out “he’s obsessed with you.” That investment early has paid off huge in such a fun way.

Real talk for dads: I get that really young babies just aren't that fun. It's a really tough season of life with newborns, lack of sleep, & everything changing. Mom's focus is rightfully on the new baby so you don't often feel as close to her & men tend to isolate when it gets hard. There's not as much you can do as a dad when they are less than one. But, ONE BIG THING I did every night & encourage all my other dad friends to do is take them alone in the stroller for a couple hour walk! -Talk to them about everything you see. Look buddy that's the fire station. There's huge fire trucks in there & hero firemen! -Pray out loud for them & tell them how much you love them. -Let them hear your voice & bond with them. -Get 10,000 steps, fresh air, & the kid fresh air & used to being outside. Massive dad hack so you don't get sloppy & out of shape. -Give mom a couple hour break to JUST BE! Tell her not to do dishes, laundry, etc that you'll do that when you're back. I bet I put thousands of miles on this bad boy! It's a hard season of life, but it goes fast. Take these long walks & before you know they'll be walking, scootering, & running with you!
