Primarying Democrats in safe blue seats really is their Super Bowl.
You never see them get this revved up for beating Republicans. Every few years they come out in primaries and turn them into the biggest existential battle on Earth...and then slink away when it comes time to defeat the actual fascist party.

Tbh I’m not pressed about a lot of our penalty shouts this season, but the number of “if that’s Romero, it’s a red” and just uncalled yellow cards as well as Gabriel absolutely deserving to be sent off is so frustrating
