There are many from my generation that didn't get to grow up because of these damn things. I thought they were fun as a kid. As an adult it was really irresponsible for my parents to let me ride one and for my uncle to buy one for us to ride. They were killing kids for 12 years before the federal government did something about it. Now I'm a Libertarian. I don't think the federal government should do anything about anything really. The parents should have known better. It's not like the news wasn't scaring them about these "collar crushers". I can remember seeing reports on the news that I was watching with my parents and holding my breath hoping they don't say anything about it because I loved riding it. I was more terrified my parents would take my riding privileges away than I was for my safety.

I’ll be damned if I would let my eight year-old son ride one of those electric bike things around the neighborhood streets. These parents are out of their minds.

Of course he’s brain dead. They probably have him on a ventilator. The question is why are our government officials lying about having conversations with him? This is absolutely the kind of thing Democrats would do so is turnabout fair play?

@LondonRiverSFW I watch The Armed Fisherman and Jeff Gray (Honor Your Oath) on YouTube all the time. As well as many others. The infringement on the 1st amendment, 2nd amendment and 4th amendment rights I see Florida police put them through on a regular basis absolutely disgust me.

@JDM4NC @goneers I’m covered with scars because I’ve lived a full life, some of my most gruesome marks are from 3 wheeler accidents on the farm. I’m not into safetyism but these vehicles are not for kids (at least, not for the ones you wish to survive till they’re old.)

Hey Florida, I thought we were like the “gun rights for all” freedom-loving state. Or is that a members-only program now? The handgun belonged to his 21-year-old passenger, Omar Bautista Jr.—the legal owner, with a concealed carry permit. Body camera footage shows Bautista telling deputies the gun was his. Curiously, the arrest report somehow forgot to mention both the passenger and his admission. Even more curiously, there’s no video of the alleged high-speed chase or the initial stop that supposedly justified the charges. Then, in what has to be either the most or least Florida part of this story, the firearm disappeared from Miami-Dade Sheriff’s custody. No inventory. No receipt. No chain of custody. So… are we still doing “law-abiding citizens have gun rights,” or are we workshopping a new policy?
