Ofcom's data suggests 4chan, a U.S. website operating wholly in the U.S., has 1.4 million UK uniques - 2% of the population - per month.
If the UK wants to block 4chan, that's their call. The movement could really use 1.4 million new free speech activists.

This Frontier flight was overbooked and with no volunteers to be bumped off the plane the airline had to decide who they would remove from the flight. They ended up choosing a solo mom flying with her two sleeping children.
Moments before she was chosen, she was asking questions about why they were delayed and how much longer it would be until take-off. Her concern and question was valid, they’ve been sitting on the tarmac on the plane for over 3 hours already.
What is being implied is that she was chosen for voicing her displeasure with the airline for their delay. It was evidenced by her friend being removed after she was. I understand planes can be overbooked but don’t you think they could have chosen a better candidate than a mother and her two sleeping children?

This woman claims she was kicked off of a Frontier flight because of her disability of being deaf. In this clip she uploaded, she can be seen conversing with the flight attendant with no issues, she’s responding to their verbal conversation. Frontier has stated that her reservation did not have any disability indications mentioned. They also clarified that she was removed from the flight for bringing an alcoholic beverage onto the flight. When confronted about the drink she decided not to give it up but to hurry up and consume it. The beverage in question was purchased at the airport and also had a warning sticker on it that stated that it cannot be brought on board a plane per federal guidelines. Everyone is now telling her to sue the airline for discrimination, however if what Frontier has stated is true, she actually broke the law with the alcoholic beverage, knowing what you know now do you feel she was kicked off for being disabled?

They don’t operate in the UK, the servers are in the US, you connect to the US, you download information from the US, your browser merely renders it locally in the UK.
If you do business with an American company, the transaction happens in the US. Your screen merely renders in the UK but the service and transaction was done in the US.

The United Kingdom has demanded that 4chan pay a £520,000 fine for failure to comply with UK age verification laws.
However, since 4chan is based in the USA, the UK has no jurisdiction to fine Americans in America.

The letter to the UK’s Ofcom ended by suggesting that “maybe, you could just stop sending Americans stupid letters and acknowledge the sovereignty of the United States.”

Made this mistake 25 years ago. The free users were the most fickle people you could imagine, 100% demanding, zero loyalty. But our paid users were a joy, the more they paid, the genuinely nicer they were. It was weird.
We had one paid user who practically became staff, had the worst name ever, but if his number sprang up, he had seen a technical issue before us.
