@marcgoone I imagine fulfillment is amazing but you could consider a CSM if a bottleneck is starting to show up. But finding someone thats a good csm + understands poker might be a tough find. Anyone with the skillset is likely making playing cards or working a great role.

we're about to have our biggest month ever (in revenue) and i can still see 25+ places where we're absolutely PUNTING money - our onboarding is a bit rocky. - we have no email nurture sequence. - customers have to manually opt into recurring on the backend instead of it being default. - our recurring program needs a better roadmap to make it more sticky - there's 100 things we want to do to improve our software for premium recurring program - etc etc etc but...this is incredibly encouraging. because if i thought we were executing perfectly, what's next? there's nowhere to go but down. but right now...we're not even close. we're fucking up in so many obvious, fixable ways. which means there's so much room left to run. excited about the next few months.

i was scared to post we did $450k revenue this month. what if competitors see it and work harder? what if smart people decide to BECOME competitors? i've felt this exact fear twice before. first time was as a poker player. moved to LA in 2016 for music but really just wanted to play poker. as music faded and poker became full time, i lied to everyone about it because i wanted access to bigger games, and i thought if people know you're a pro you'll never get in. so i told people i was still a songwriter. but people aren't dumb, even if they suck at poker. you show up to the casino at 11am on a tuesday and you're winning most of your sessions, they know you're a pro. so lying about it backfired. i couldn't get into the big stream games or private games consistently. because no one wants to play with some random "songwriter". if you're gonna play with a pro, you want to play with the pro you've been watching on youtube for 5 years. the second time i let fear guide my decisions was the early days of our business. co-founder gethen and i spent 2.5 years backing players and painstakingly building strategies to make them better. when we turned it into a paid program, we locked all the best stuff in the vault for paid customers only because i was terrified competitors would copy it. so even though we knew we had all the sauce... none of our potential customers did. we struggled, a lot, to attract customers. finally as a hail mary we started giving the sauce away for free on youtube. real strategies. the stuff i thought would kill us if competitors stole it, copied it and sold it. instead...business exploded. yesterday i almost let the same fear win a third time. was about to post something vague about our numbers. something safe. then i recognized the feeling. posted it anyway. within hours i was talking to people who've scaled past 8 figures. people who actually know what they're doing. people i never would've connected with if i stayed quiet. done letting fear guide my decisions.

can i be honest? i have no fucking idea how to find someone to run our sales team we'll do ~$450k this month (100% organic) closing 44% on one call closes ads are ready to go (shoutout @TheJeremyHaynes inner circle) but we're NOT running ads yet because we can't handle the volume so we're sitting here with a money printer we can't turn on until we find the right person problem is: - where do high-ticket sales people (coaching/info) who've actually BUILT teams hang out? - what makes someone leave a $250k/yr job for $400k+ with massive upside? - how do you know they're not full of shit?

The level of happiness I was already feeling got multiplied by infinity.

This is true. But it does little good to tell men not to string women along. First off, they are getting everything they want for free - so why change? But second, even assuming best intentions, most guys don't usually understand why they don't want to commit to certain girls (who they think they love). They spend years trying to persuade themselves to pull the trigger. Then they see another woman and know she's the one immediately. If women want to date without male guardians they need strict romantic guidelines. No ring by X date, they're out of the relationship. But it's extremely naive to expect young women to think like this. We keep returning to the crux of the problem on here but refuse to touch it, like an event horizon.
