Wow… I read this multiple times. The candid, unfiltered emotion invoked something inside that is genuine and heartfelt for you and your situation. Following someone on a social media platform allows you to connect and come to appreciate someone’s views but to share like you did brings a deep emotional connection to someone that you only assumed you related. These attacks…they have no idea. No idea who they are dealing with. Let me give you a brief personal anecdote to how I handle this stuff Story time- I fell in love only once in my life, met in the midst of my family losing the house from the IRS and my parents going insane because of it. To this day I never felt anything more powerful in my life. motivated me to be the best version I could muster. For 4 years. I treated being a boyfriend like being a husband. I had a ring picked out and was paying on it. Was not until feb 28th 2021 one of my childhood friends cut his own throat in a suicide attempt; that I saw their true colors. For when I got the call to go to the hospital I said “babe Corey is going into the hospital something bad happened; will you come with me?” “you can’t leave it’s my birthday weekend!” Now throughout those years there were a lot of moments they let me down, but I worked myself to the bone providing, sacrificing, and understanding. My health took a massive toll and every dollar went to supporting them. I went to the hospital alone and The relationship fell apart soon after that. It took me 3 years to restore my health and mental state afterwards. Until last November after being laid off for 5months that I snapped and here we are today. Despite all of it, there is nothing I would love more than to have a convo with my ex tell them I love them and forgive them. Or tell my dad the same for going insane. Why? It was not their fault The system is to blame Whether it was The narcissistic propaganda my ex was brainwashed with or the outright targeting my family suffered. Or the poisoning of my own body with the toxic food. Heartache and stress are my oldest friends. It has been that way since my little brother Eric died of SIDS in 1994. You see I was always meant to be an older brother. You all are my reasons for living and dying at this point in my life. Thats why I wouldn’t dare take advantage of any of you whom graces me with your time and ear. Thats how much I hate this system….bc that’s exactly how much I have loved.
