November #bookswhatIread Kate Atkinson was terrific. I'm tempted to revisit the whole Jackson Brodie series, especially as Reacher has completely gone off the boil. Hagitude was good prep for being a middle aged woman of a etc. Carter was just a bit too mad.

#BooksWhatIRead 2024. Hags by @glosswitch was the absolute stand out for January. Thought provoking, excoriating, brilliant. Lots of people will be getting it as birthday presents! (much like In Her Nature last year, which I gifted 3+times). Dolly Parton was hilarious.

@TristanCorkPost Footpath rather than road, but the path along the Frome from Eastville park to Blackberry Hill was underwater at 4pm, and getting higher. The lake is completely flooded.

Add the Redcliffe side of the Bedminster Bridge roundabout. It’s under about 5 inches of water atm, although I didn’t get out to measure it tbf.

Floodwater in Bristol is almost at the point where the roads are impassable at: N-bound side of the bottom of Redcliff Hill north side of the St Mary Redcliffe Roundabout And Whitehall Rd under the railway bridge by Easton Community Centre IS impassable.

Don't get distracted by 'like a dog returning to its vomit'. Push onto 'it's hard to hear the jack boots when the owners have bone spurs'
