Made $800 profit on a product I found on Amazon Sold it back on Amazon How: Found product FBM only at $35 Selling 200x/month Keepa showed it used to be $65 FBA I bought 50 units FBM Sent them FBA Listed at $58 Won buy box immediately Sold out in 10 days $16/unit profit A2A works when FBA offers disappear Don't sleep on it

@lukericefba This is definitely a good search. I find my highest profiting ASIN, and reverse search all of the sellers on KPF, and then adjust the filters. I like doing this to find both new brands to ungate and current items to resell.

Most sellers manually scan random products I use Keepa Product Finder: Filter 1: Offers dropping Filter 2: Buy box rising Filter 3: 100+ monthly sales Filter 4: Under 20 sellers Filter 5: Categories I'm ungated in Finds products nobody else sees Then I reverse source those sellers 10 minutes of filtering > 2 hours random scanning Keepa Product Finder is a cheat code

A2A is a cheat code most sellers don't tap into enough Here's how it works: Find products selling FBM only Price is high ($50+) Low stock across sellers I can source it cheaper elsewhere I buy it Ship FBA Win buy box over FBM sellers Sell at premium Recent example: Bought for $22 Sold FBA for $58 $18 profit per unit Moved 120 units in 3 weeks A2A flips are hidden gold

@LocdoesFBA I only have 2 reviews on my account, I have been selling on Amazon since 2023. I haven't had another ASIN where I have purchased more than 100 at one time (not wholesale). I don't know if I will go that deep ever again, but I took a risk and it was a blessing, to say the least.

@LocdoesFBA I'm one! Found an ASIN, tested 10 FBA, sold immediately during FBA shipping. Sales rank was under 100. Took a risk and purchased 70ish because they were so cheap, sold 10 or more per day with buyers buying 2 or more at one time. Went back and purchased more. Kept going.

Every few months we take stock of our box sizes, measure our most popular SKUs and then test new boxes. Goal being to both stock as few sizes as needed without shipping too much air. Here’s our current batch of tests. What’s your go to sizes? The ones I stock at all times: 8x6x4 10x6x4 10x8x6 12x6x6 12x8x8

@SuasiveSells I agree. I learned the hard way. I used my personal CC starting off and now I am trying to reduce that balance. At the same time, I did obtain one business cc and now I am waiting for the 2nd business cc to arrive. Can't wait to qualify for more in the future.

@LTFlips Good idea focusing on fbm more! You can get a lot more money from a business credit card than a personal one. If you have good credit you should work on that asap. I have 5 credit cards and if I just waited to get a business one first I would have a higher credit limit

I’ve reached the point where I just need more money. Going to look into getting lending through an LLC. My credit needs a little work first. I have about 5 ASINs I’m waiting to purchase but ran out of capital until the Amazon payments come in

Regarding sourcing for products, it's finally clicking. Instead of trying to find new products wasting more time, look into the brands you have doing well and source from that brand. Doing this I I found more asins but also new brands to expand the business! #reseller #amazonfba

@SaulSellsStuff Agreed! I just reached out to seller support last week because the color of the item in the listing was wrong, but all the other details were correct. I also sent screenshots of what customers see.

Multiple sellers decided to send this toy into FBA. Currently ranked 3,000,000+ 1. This is under a pound. If you’re going to sell it with little low velocity it has to go FBM. You’re killing margin for no reason. 2. The listing is horrible. If you’re going to tackle a high rank product (and you certainly can) you must push to get the page updated. New title and images. Work with seller support to suggest changes and push them about how it’ll help customers. 3. This is part of the reason amazon charges more for storage or limits users. Reality is this product should not be in any warehouse. Amazon makes way more money when you sell vs storage. 4. 27 sellers have currently decided this is worth listing in some way. This is all you need to see to know that if you push 1% more than the average seller you’re in a great spot. If you’re reading this you’re already ahead.

Amazon sellers you’re actively losing out on profitable buys. Stop blindly using Keepas buybox statistics tab to make buying decisions. I will happily make a long post soon about how awesome Keepa is but also it works and therefore what data is worth blindly trusting. To drive this home: 7,098 listings on Keepa show that Amazon has 100% buy box ownership over the last 30 days and also has 10+ new sellers on those listings. A random sampling of those charts will show heavy seller count movement for both FBM and FBA. I’ve attached a picture where Keepa shows 100% buy box ownership to Amazon and in the buy box right now (for me) is a 3P seller. Keepas own language on this screen talks about how buy boxes are shared. They do this to help show you that buy boxes rotate, are regional, etc. All data is helpful, Keepa elevates your ability to make smart buys, but it can’t be everywhere all the time. I shared last year that over 40% of my listings have Amazon on them. You’re shutting off hundreds of thousands of ASINs if you actively avoid these listings. Your own data will be the best data. Next time you see a lead you want to buy and normally would stay away from due to buy box ownership or amazon, buy 1. See how it goes, build confidence on top of your own sales.

Whenever I get into a rut sourcing for Amazon here’s our reminder that it’s a blue ocean: On Amazon right now their are 115,623 unique products that: Under 150,000 rank $30+ lowest new price Amazon out of stock 3+ sellers No variations Sounds overwhelming because it is. Now think of the hundreds of thousands that are out of stock or slightly higher rank. It’s easy to get caught up in the hyped brands and products that you see on social media. Reality is you can profit and build a very healthy business in so many ways. So keep scanning and compounding that experience every day.

It’s been a crazy 3 months. Lots of personal medical battles and some that I’m still fighting. However! I have some news I am excited to share. As some of you know in 2023 my wife and I lost our daughter Ellie. We weren’t sure how exactly to move forward. It’s been a long 15 months since then and lots of anxiety, conversations, and so many doctors appointments. We put a lot of energy into healing and each other. For most of 2024 I’ve been keeping something very close to the chest and just a couple weeks ago we were blessed to welcome our rainbow baby to the world. He’s small but mighty and helps fill a huge hole in our hearts. Ellie will always be our first and the big sister to James. I apologize for my lack of replies these past couple months. I’m excited to welcome 2025 with open arms and come back to this community that I really love.
