I grew up in the Catholic faith. I understand the negative feelings around abortion. But I’ve also had three miscarriages, two of which required a D&C. I know what it’s like to need essential care in a horrible position.
If we want to protect the sanctity of life, we need to protect women’s lives. We owe it to the women who give their service to our country to ensure they have access to essential medical care when they need it.
