My account is in danger again. Since yesterday, the number of my followers seems to have been capped—around 59,470. Whenever more people follow me, the system automatically makes me unfollow some others.
A few years ago, my previous account went through the exact same thing just months before it was permanently banned. It looks like this is how Western social media silences dissenting voices. Yes, you're allowed to speak. Yes, it looks like you have free speech. But they make sure your voice never gets too loud.
However, I don't really care much. I've always said X is just my hobby as some other middle‑aged guy like fishing or prostituting. If this account gets banned, I'll start a new one. The follower count does give me a sense of accomplishment, sure—but it's not that important.

@Deee_luul I’m sorry which country you on about? Somaliland got nothing to do with Somalia or am I missing something

Look at how the UAE mocks our country’s sovereignty!

Gyökeres didn't. He returned on the first plane back to London.
Couple this with all the sacrifices he made to come here. Giving up money to chase 1 last chance at a legacy
These are the guys that succeed no matter what
Compare this attitude to Saka who is busy promoting nando sauce when they've been shit all season. Or doing podcasts with Rio Ferdinand like Jesus in the middle of a title race.
One clearly has his priorities straight. Does everyone else?

Swahilis invented baati. Somalians claim it and desperately try to gatekeep it.
Ask them to show you a single dye in Somalia.

all these are true, but the greatest loss for the United states in this war is its military hegemony.
The key reason the U.S. was able to establish its post–Cold War hegemony lay in its overwhelming victory over the Iraqi military in 1991—at the time considered one of the world’s top five military forces—without getting bogged down in a protracted conflict like Vietnam. That victory made all countries around the world, including Russia and China, realize that their military technology had fallen far behind that of the United States. As a result, when dealing with the Americans, they felt compelled to adopt a posture of deference and submission.
This time, however, the war with Iran has shown the world that the U.S. military has deteriorated to the point where it is incapable of defeating even a middle-tier power like Iran, let alone taking on China or Russia. The respect—or fear—that once marked other nations’ approach to the U.S. military and to Americans has now dissipated into thin air.

@krassenstein Banning average global fans and charging them exorbitant fees for the World Cup is a major mistake yet. US is becoming a pariah country in the world.

@Djaameel_ @EduardoHagn Take it from me.Kvicha and I go way back . We grew up together in a small village in Georgia .

@HornChronicles Somaliland unlike the chaos in Somalia which continues to plague the region is maturing very very well, deserves all the plaudits and attention it receives.
English

Trump does not arrive at Somalia by accident. Practically every other week Somalia is made central in his press conferences. Someone is feeding him this. Someone finds it useful.
In December 2025 Israel formally recognised Somaliland, the breakaway region that declared independence from Somalia in 1991. Is it any surprise that Israel now wants the US to follow? You do not manufacture contempt for a country at the highest levels of power without a destination in mind. You do not extend diplomatic recognition to a breakaway territory without first making the parent state sound like it deserves to lose it.
On the same day Trump was degrading Somalia on camera, the Israeli Embassy in Nairobi was posting a map drawing circles around Somali cities. On the same day, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Uganda’s president and chief of its armed forces, was announcing a statue of Yoni Netanyahu at Entebbe airport at the exact spot he fell in 1976, and invoking Jesus Christ as the one who would end the war in Gaza. The crusader and the cartographer, working the same moment.
None of this began with Trump. It began long before him, with the academic infrastructure that defined Somali territorial claims as irredentism, the policy architecture that armed Somalia’s neighbours against it, the Christian Zionist networks that spent decades cultivating East Africa’s religious landscape, and the intervention mandates that described Somalia as a failed state and never asked who failed it.
You do not get to call a country crooked and disgusting from the White House unless a long chain of more respectable voices has already established that its brokenness is its own fault.
Somalia was not broken by accident. It was broken by the same governments now drawing maps around it, arming its neighbours against it, and manufacturing the language that makes its dismemberment sound like a natural conclusion.
Trump’s words are crude. But they did not arrive from a vacuum. The first map was drawn the moment imperial powers landed on the Somali peninsula. Every map since has served the same purpose.
The question is whether Somalis will wake up in time. The Palestinians did not see the full architecture until it was too late to stop it. The maps were drawn. The neighbours were armed. The narrative was set. History does not have to repeat itself. But right now it is rhyming very loudly.
Clash Report@clashreport
Trump on Somalia: Somalia is a crooked and disgusting country. Somala is one of the worst countries in the world, some people say it is the worst.
