No my point, which apparently people are not getting, is that normal American peanut butter is sweet and it’s sweetened. It very clearly has a sweet taste to it. I’m not “buying the wrong Jiff”, because I’m talking about the normal stuff. Peanut butter is sweet. What are people not getting about this?!

@Strangeland_Elf You're buying the wrong Jiff. US peanut butter isn't normally very sweet unless you buy one with a lot of added sugar. Most people don't care for the natural stur varieties unless they fell for the hydrogenated fat scare of the 80s. Unless you're getting Goober, PB is savory

@Strangeland_Elf Perhaps you've never had 'sweet' or something. Take a bite of a glazed doughnut, and then some peanut butter. That would give you a good comparison between sweet and not sweet.
Then, put the peanut butter all over the glazed doughnut and eat it. I bet it will be delicious!
