@Watch_LFC Massive shame if he leaves. Still think he’s our best midfielder by a mile

Alexis Mac Allister is a #6 now. He should always be the deepest player in midfield for Liverpool. He understands how to conduct and he is still a world class player despite a poor season. Save the money on Wharton and trust in Alexis.

@Watch_LFC I’d take Conceicao over Akliouche. He’s pacier, runs in behind and arguably more technical

LW: Diomande, Rio CF: Isak, Núñez RW: Akliouche, Abe If we go into next season with that as our depth in forward positions, before Ekitike returns from injury in January, that’s enough fire power to challenge for a Quadruple. Plus Akliouche can play 10 as well if Wirtz is injured.

I think its a no brainer to resign Salah. Lets be real he only left cause of Slot, Lovren confirmed that today. People can say he was finished but the reality is he was the top performing winger statistically in the PL from Feb on. & its hard to justify big spending on 2 wingers when we other priorities.

@LFCLaurie That’s like saying Thiago failed in a Klopp system. You sometimes need the brains to go along with athletes.

PSG beating us to Diomande would be a big blow, the RW market is bad enough as it is Akliouche, Rayan, Ndiaye, Minteh are the only alternative options I can think of

@asim_lfc It’s like saying Thiago will be most exposed in a Klopp system. I still think Macca can offer us the control Thiago once did, albeit not at the same level of quality on the ball.

Mac Allister is the player who will be most exposed in an Iraola system. It’s the summer where you make the call on him. #LFC 🇦🇷

@b3nand9 @LFCTransferRoom @chestermanutd3 Forest will likely sit much deeper against Liverpool, so I don’t see Iraola replicating that 5–0 win. His football is excellent OOP, but there are still question marks over his attacking patterns against low blocks when his side has most of the ball.

30 minutes of Andoni Iraola football. Here’s what you can expect from the former Bournemouth manager, and his attacking style of football that so many praise him for. Liverpool is in safe hands. 🎬: @chestermanutd3

@YazzLFC His sides are good without the ball and their OOP play but when in possession the ball his sides are severely lacking especially breaking down low blocks. Teams will rather let us have the ball and we are gonna run out of ideas.

Why are so many people negative about the expected appointment of Andoni Iraola and questioning whether he has enough experience? Football history has shown time and time again that greatness isn't always measured by the size of the club you've managed it's measured by the quality of your work. Never forget that Barcelona appointed Pep Guardiola straight from their B team. Many doubted him, yet he went on to redefine modern football. Iraola has already proven he can build a clear identity, improve players, and compete against clubs with far greater resources. What he's achieved with Bournemouth is nothing short of remarkable. His teams are aggressive, brave, tactically intelligent, and play the kind of high-intensity football Liverpool supporters have come to love. Liverpool don't need a manager with the biggest CV. They need the right manager. Someone with fresh ideas, modern tactics, strong man-management skills, and the courage to take the club forward. Judging Iraola purely on the clubs he's managed misses the bigger picture. The best appointments are often the ones that look risky at first. If Liverpool appoint him, they wouldn't be hiring potential they'd be hiring one of the most exciting and progressive YOUNG coaches in European football today.

@AnfieldLounge No doubt his triumph card is his OOP play but very worried about the lack of patterns of play with the ball. At Liverpool you’re gonna be facing low blocks, even he admitted it’s a huge weak point of his.

I think the argument that Andoni Iraola has never won a trophy or coached a top club is a very lazy one from some Liverpool fans. There are many coaches who had never won anything before being appointed by a bigger club, yet they transformed those teams and went on to achieve great success. Examples include Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, Luis Enrique at Barcelona, Jürgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund, and Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid. There are many more examples as well. Enzo Maresca is another example. He quickly implemented his ideas and won silverware. Big clubs have the resources to help a coach succeed, provided the coach is capable and hardworking. Modern fans often want managers with big names, but judging a coach solely on trophies or previous clubs is a lazy argument. What matters most is the coach's ideas, ability to improve players, and whether they can build a successful team.

Have to be honest, I wasn’t sure if Iraola was the man to take us forward when the links initially came out…but as the season got progressively worse, I’m not against it whatsoever. What are your thoughts? Is he the one to take us forward? 🇪🇸
