Alfie Jay Rees, a Green Party member and candidate in this year’s local elections, standing in Thurrock, has called for "Death to Israel", "Death to America", and "Death to England".
Rees, who is standing in the Tilbury St Chads ward in Thurrock, has also called for Israel to be "flattened" so that a Palestinian state can be built in its place.
In the text messages, he also claimed to be part of the Green Party executive committee.
