I went to the shelter yesterday to look at dogs. Our sweet dog died 6 weeks ago. A woman came in with a two week old kitten who was bottle fed- she could not keep him due to work and she had no choice but to bring him in. They let her know kittens were put down immediately due to lack of staff unable to bottle feed. Meet Mango. He is two weeks old, his motor is insanely loud and he eats like a champ. I do not need another cat but the cat distribution system felt otherwise. 🧡

This little girl was lost and found by someone who asked my wife if she could help her. Well being a animal lover as my wife is she has been nursing her for almost three weeks after the animal shelter couldn’t take her and just said leave it at the front door and they would dispose of her because she wouldn’t live till morning, she was so tiny with eyes closed and her umbilical cord still attached. Well I gotta give to her because this little kitten is getting stronger everyday. Beyond expectation she is now about 3 weeks or so but is nursing and sleeping through the whole night. We’ll keep you updated.

@miles_commodore Went to see Hail Mary yesterday. Very good movie, highly recommended. The previews for other movies, however, looked like previews of various torture and hellfire/damnation events. Grown men and women actually spent time dreaming up then making those movies.

@Pro_Wresler Actually I have a different angle….I think cats give people an avenue to be the people they’ve always been but felt they couldn’t express, for whatever reasons. Caring for a loving little fur baby requires people to be their real selves. Cat people are the best.
