@Craigtx80 Yep. The dump it down the wall from around the net area and pray it gets out of the zone isn't working. Yes he can exit the zone when he's close to the blue line and has a mean shot on the offensive end, but in the deep D zone, he panics.

@MegaMomMachine He has gotten better, and at least has 2 or 3 reads to exit the zone on most entries, which imo is the most important thing, leaving. But once he has to play D hes just not big enough to force skaters to bad areas of the ice. 🔫 to his head he can't clear the crease.

Our 3rd line is a shty 2nd line. Nils fraud card? Sure seemed liked he got demoted last night.

@Craigtx80 He just looks lost so much more often than the others. Then whoever he is paired with has to try to cover both position and it drags whoever is with him down. I love when he is on his game, he's great, but it seems this time of year he gets "lost" a lot.

That may have been the worst shift of the game for Dallas. And that's saying something Left DeSmith completely vulnerable, and despite him making an incredible lateral save to his left AND Mercer missing a wide-open net, the Devils still restored their two-goal lead.
