@DrMHofman @declangmurphy @stefanofanti4 @ProfKHerrmann @EUplatinum @APCCC_Lugano PSMA is more accurate, but some PSMA-avid lesion is benign and PSMA uptake is also influenced by several factors (tumor, host, ADT). Test interventions (randomized, solid endpoint) in a PSMA-defined patient population is strongly needed.

@DrMHofman @declangmurphy @stefanofanti4 @ProfKHerrmann @EUplatinum @APCCC_Lugano Although moving from hubble to hubb, convinced that the planet is actually gas, it may also pick up bunch of asteroids, which may also look like planets..

@bodyradgal Yes. Especially if a change in interpretation might influence ongoing patient care, even in retrospect. Reader needs to know for next time too.

@hanna_zrad Agree this is important though “failures” may not be the best term. After discovering the 1st major miss of my independent career I “confessed” to a more sr colleague who I respect greatly and she told me about her similar miss early in her career. All about trust and mentorship.

@Bob_Wachter Agree. But FDA needs to approve not just authorize. Once approved health care systems may be able to require vaccination just like for flu.
English

Important thread & sobering case.
To me, the time has come: vaccination should be required for healthcare workers who see patients – it's a moral obligation. We see too many patients who remain vulnerable due to age, disease, or Rx. Enough equivocation – let's do what's right.
Atul Gawande@Atul_Gawande
This outbreak is vital to understand. It shows what we still face if younger folks go unvaccinated. 47% of health care workers refused vax, while only 10% of residents did. Result: 1 unvax'd HCW with COVID led to 20 HCWs & 26 residents infected, of whom 3 died (1 vaccinated).

@ProfPadhani @radiolobt Can we please drop the term biparametric and just call it what it is: prostate mri without contrast?
