The Minnesota High School State Championship between Moorhead & Minnetonka had a larger attendance (19,648) than ANY NHL game on Saturday (19,070). This truly is my favorite stat of every hockey season. Such a testament to the fandom and support of the MN hockey community

Thank you to all who made this an unforgettable Tourney 💙 2026 Boys Hockey State Tournament attendance counting all sessions was 𝟭𝟰𝟬,𝟴𝟰𝟲, breaking the previous record of 140,442 set in 2024.

The Class AA State Championship at Grand Casino Arena on Saturday between Minnetonka and Moorhead had more attendance than 11 NHL games. #Stateofhockey Here is Saturday's attendance report.
