Yesterday our CEO attended the "Keeping it 100" event, which was a luncheon at the Downtown Club celebrating Women's History Month, and Mayor Parker as both the 100th Mayor of the City of Philadelphia and the first woman to hold the office. It was a wonderful time to celebrate.

On Tuesday, residents at The Whitehall Apartments in Chester Co, PA celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with @Xfinity! Our representative, Bryan, came by and donated some mugs and we had guessing games for Reese’s peanut butter cups, Hershey kisses, and laundry detergent pods.

Construction for The Blake at Somerset in Baltimore, MD is underway! The Blake is a 190-unit new construction, mixed-income housing community with retail.

Scenes from the Grow with Me event at Golden Rule Plaza in Washington DC. Residents were able to plant flowers and enjoy community bonding as they quite literally strengthen their roots! It was a wonderful time all around!

There's nothing like a good slice of pie! On Friday, residents at The Whitehall Apartments in Chester Co, PA had an early celebration for National Pi Day. There was a lot of delicious pies to enjoy!

@Care_Access_ visited The Lewis Apartments in Suitland, MD and provided free heart and kidney screenings to our residents! Thank you to Care Access for your generosity!

Looking better each day! The sun is out and construction on The Reeds at 1910 in Wheaton, MD is making great progress!

Friends For Peace is an organization that focuses on building peace through arts and crafts and different engagement activities. They came by on Wednesday to spend time with the youth from our Washington DC properties.

Scenes from a field trip to the Spy Museum that the youth from our Washington, DC properties went on. It was a fun time full of learning and excitement!

Last week, residents from our Washington, DC properties participated in a Financial Literacy Workshop which included speakers from @NewYorkLife, JPMorganChase and @UPOinDC. Residents received education in budgeting, savings, credit management, retirement planning, and more!

Yesterday, residents from Golden Rule Apartments in Washington DC, took a field trip to Martha's Table! During the trip, residents were able to get free groceries as well as purchase clothing!

This month, Methodist Services sponsored two events for Monument Village in Philadelphia, PA. The events were painting with a Twist-ed Pretzel and an African American Book Fair at Methodist’s office, where eight of our young residents joined the fun!!

Learning something new! During the after school program for the youth at our DC properties, one of the kids was being taught how to play chess!

On Friday the 13th, residents at The Whitehall Apartments in Chester Co, PA had a fun bingo event to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Guiding Hands Eldercare came to visit and provided the prizes!

Last Thursday, our CEO Thomas Queenan attended Pennsylvania @GovernorShapiro’s announcement of the state’s first-ever comprehensive Housing Action Plan! While there he connected with PHFA Director @rlwiessmann and @SenatorHughes.

Mission First Housing Group and Columbus Property Management offices will be closed today in observance of President's Day.

Last week, residents at our Washington DC properties took a trip to Anne Arundel Mills Shopping Mall in Columbia, MD. It was a wonderful opportunity for the residents to shop and dine with each other! A big thank you to Seabury Resources for Aging® for providing transportation!
