FF16 was such a bait-and-switch.
We all thought it was returning to classic FF roots with the more pure-medieval setting, until the game came out and it turned out to be a cynical attempt to cash in on Game of Thrones' popularity, but had come out long after GoT had shot itself in the foot and people had started to hate it.
Still not the worst bait-and-switch the franchise ever pulled. That was FF7 Remake.

When I was studying engineering at my college there were so many men that told me to quit because it was a male field... This just gives off the same kind of energy and reeks of insecurity and exclusion. All genders can do everything if you don't like it you should get out of the hobby.

NexusMods has moved all (jBX) Marvel Rivals mods to under moderation review. Unlikely any mods will be removed by NexusMods if action is not taken.
JellyBX (jBX) has reuploaded all his mods to AyakaMods.
Same reason as HobbyR34
Nexus staff asked jBX to remove:
- Ko-fi links
- Image previews
- Any support mentions
He refused to keep risking it on NexusMods for all mods and moved to AyakaMods.
This is the same overreach we saw with HobbyR34, Nexus trying to control not just their site, but your external links, your Ko-fi, and even indirect Twitter/Carrd connections.
Modders shall not have to choose between feeding their work or getting nuked for all mods.

You know, whatever you do, there will always be someone who will TRY to defame your character, either because they don’t like you, out of frustration because they no longer have access to you or your life, or simply because your presence 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 them ── They can’t control you or your situation, so they’ll try to control the way others see you by changing the narrative, in order to get the support they want and isolate you.

Show them that they are 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 and that they have misjudged you, because most people blindly follow their group of friends whom they believe to be sincere and loyal, but who would be capable of inflicting the same fate upon them at any moment. Or ── they’ll team up with others who’ve had a 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 with you or who share the same problem with you, hoping to create a larger group of haters to bring you down. Pathetic, isn’t it?

But you know what? If they need to rally so MANY people to their cause against a single person minding their own business, it reveals their 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 with you and their cowardice ── Let them talk, let them spread their venom; it won’t change who you are, it won’t change your way of life or your perspective. Remember that you can’t please everyone, and if some people choose a side without hearing your side of the story, without forming their own opinion, then they’re doing you a favor by not being part of your life, because easily influenced people don’t deserve a seat at your 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

Don’t stop living for these people, because that’s secretly what they hope for through their campaigns of hatred and defamation. They’re waiting for your 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹, your departure, or WORSE, but it won’t happen. Don’t give them that satisfaction; continue to be yourself and shine. They will eventually regret their words, their repeated lies, and their incitement to hatred. Because sooner or later, the wheel turns, and they will find themselves in the position they put you in. And when that day comes, they will reflect on what they did to you, and then they will learn their 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻.

Critiquer, prêcher ou même afficher certains symboles pourrait désormais vous valoir des accusations criminelles. - C-22 (accès légal) :
Oblige les fournisseurs d’accès Internet à conserver les métadonnées pendant un an, facilite l’accès à vos données par la police et le SCRS et permet au ministre d’imposer des droits d’accès (des portes dérobées déguisées). Surveillance de masse de vos communications numériques sans mandat. Votre vie en ligne devient totalement transparente pour l'État.
- Projet de loi C-34 (Loi sur la sécurité numérique) :
Ce projet de loi crée une puissante Commission gouvernementale de la sécurité numérique qui dictera aux plateformes, aux chatbots et aux services en ligne ce qu'ils doivent censurer, comment vérifier l'âge des utilisateurs et comment se protéger contre les contenus préjudiciables. Contrôle d'âge obligatoire, plans de sécurité imposés, amendes colossales et pouvoir discrétionnaire étendu pour décider de ce qui est acceptable. Une censure centralisée au nom de la protection des enfants. Ensemble, ces trois projets de loi transforment le Canada en un État de surveillance et de censure généralisée.
Vous ne pourrez plus parler, partager ni même penser librement sans risquer d'être signalé, surveillé ou poursuivi. Les voix dissidentes, les critiques de l'immigration, les débats religieux, les opinions controversées, tout devient risqué.

People not having the patience to understand character development and calling the character "boring" or "unlikeable" because of it, really needs to be studied.
Personally I like a complex character that doesn't scream "please like me!" as soon as you see them.

You don't even get any hardware shipped to you to "rent".
It's all on the cloud, where you play a game that's run on a remote server, and you play on "any device". Instead of buying the console or gaming PC, you stream the game from the cloud. It'll be like Geforce Now + Xbox game pass. You never own the hardware or the game.
In the long run, it will be more expensive than owning the hardware, and the games will become shallower as they want people to switch games more often.
Say, do, or type anything against ToS? Hate speech? politically incorrect actions? Your read digital ID-linked cloud account gets permanently banned, and then you can't game anymore... You get black listed from all services.
Eventually, 10-20 years from now, they will make it illegal to own your hardware for "safety", unless all these crazy globalists and WEF plants get removed from all positions of power soon.
