📢 Where Real Progress in Robotics Is Actually Coming From The Physical AI & Robotics Salon at Stanford University wasn’t about hype, it was about fundamentals. It’s Not Just AI The main idea was simple: You can’t separate hardware, data, and models. I used to think that progress in robotics was primarily about smarter AI. But robots operate in the real world, and that changes everything. Hardware Still Matters Most In the first session with teams @PrismaXai the focus was on actuators. What clicked for me: A robot’s intelligence is limited by its hardware. It's not just about power, precision, control, and efficiency are also important. These tradeoffs determine the robot's true capabilities. Why Humanoids Make Sense Researchers from OpenAI and Google DeepMind talked about humanoids. At first, I was skeptical. But the logic is clear: -> the world is built for humans -> human data is easier to use -> tasks generalize better Designing robots for the world is easier than redesigning the world for robots. The Key Insight The biggest takeaway for me: Hardware shapes data, and data shapes model performance. You don't just collect data. Your system architecture determines what data is possible. Simulation Has Limits Simulation helps, but it breaks in real conditions: ▪️ complex physics ▪️ real-world contact ▪️ unpredictability At some point, the robot has to work in reality. If I had to sum it up in one sentence: Robotics advances not through a single breakthrough, but through entire systems improving together. And honestly, that makes the field both more challenging and more achievable.

New Model Drop: MiniMax M2.7 is now live on Yupp! MiniMax recently released its latest model — M2.7 — designed specifically for real-world productivity and extremely fast task completion. The model is available in two versions: standard and high-speed. Yupp is a platform that allows users to discover, test, and compare leading AI models side-by-side, featuring a detailed leaderboard with performance rankings. The integration brings MiniMax M2.7 directly to Yupp, giving everyone the opportunity to try its speed and efficiency immediately and see how it performs compared to other top productivity models on the leaderboard. Check it out and share your impressions! @yupp_ai

Why most robotics teams underestimate teleoperation There’s a pattern you see again and again in robotics. Teams invest heavily in perception models, planning algorithms, and hardware. They chase higher levels of autonomy, better benchmarks, cleaner demos. And teleoperation? It’s often treated as a temporary workaround. A fallback. Something you “remove later” once autonomy is good enough. This is a mistake. Because in the real world, autonomy is never perfect. No matter how good the model is, there will always be edge cases: unexpected obstacles, unusual objects, messy environments, sensor noise, rare scenarios that never appeared in training data. And when those moments happen, the system needs a way to respond. Without teleoperation, the result is predictable: robots stop, operations break, engineers get involved, and progress slows down. But the bigger issue is not operational. It’s architectural. When teleoperation is treated as an afterthought, teams lose something much more valuable than control they lose the fastest path to learning. At @PrismaXai, teleoperation is not a backup layer. It’s part of the core system design. Every time a human steps in, something critical happens: a real-world problem is solved, and a real-world example is created. That example contains context, judgment, and adaptation - things that are incredibly hard to encode manually. Instead of disappearing, these moments are captured as structured data. They become training signals that improve future autonomy. This changes the entire dynamic of building robotics systems. Failures stop being interruptions. They become inputs. Edge cases stop being blockers. They become assets. Operations stop being separate from learning. They become the learning loop itself. And this is where most teams underestimate teleoperation. They see it as control. But it’s actually a data engine. A feedback loop. A bridge between human intelligence and machine autonomy. The teams that understand this don’t try to eliminate teleoperation as fast as possible. They design systems where every human intervention makes the model better. Because autonomy doesn’t scale by avoiding humans. It scales by learning from them - systematically, continuously, and in the real world.

Liquid has added a new S&P 500 trading pair for mobile and desktop with up to 50x leverage. For those who aren’t familiar, this is a stock index comprising the 500 largest companies in the U.S. It accounts for about 80% of the total value of the U.S. stock market. In my opinion, this is a smart move. The S&P 500 is one of the most liquid markets, so it could attract new traders and bring more trading volume to @liquidtrading.

Today was the @PrismaXai PFP Drawing Session ! The vibe was amazing - creativity, community, and real art all in one place. @VICXWEB and @Chaos_Artz were creating PFPs live during the session, and it was honestly so cool to watch. And for me, it was even more special - my profile photo was selected, and @Chaos_Artz created a PrismaX-style PFP for me. I truly appreciate things like this. It’s much more than just an image - it’s someone’s time, effort, style, and energy. Honestly, for me, this is way more valuable than any AI-generated art. Because this was made by a real person. And also ,Special thanks to @edward_evm for hosting the session and the music! That Serduchka moment - straight to the heart😁

today, hardware creators are forced to spend resources developing their own remote control systems and data collection pipelines. @PrismaXai changes the approach by offering a uniform teleoperation standard as a service the platform provides ready access to an operator network, built-in payment systems, and interfaces this allows hardware engineers to focus solely on hardware and unique features, outsourcing the "data flywhee

. @magicblock is back with another 48 hour hackathon, now focused on privacy privacy here looks less like a complex topic and more like something you can actually sit down and try building over a weekend you can test simple ideas like payments, small games, or identity flows without overthinking the setup or spending weeks preparing these kinds of events usually show what people end up building when the barrier is low and there is not much time to overcomplicate things

Crazy day today. Went out with my friends and we gave out food to about 500 people in the spirit of Ramadan. Cooked, shared, laughed… just pure good energy all around. Now I’m back, tired, still smelling like smoke from my friend’s barbecue 😅 Moments like this remind me what really matters… community. That same idea is why I find @XOOBNetwork interesting. It’s like a “metro system” for growth connecting people, actions, and outcomes in one flow. Not just noise, but real movement. Anyway, I’ll drop a video next showing how everything went. For now… I’m signing out. 🫡
