If I was not born in America on American Independence Day, I would challenge this disgraceful excuse for a King for the throne of England. My pedigree may be sub-cadet lines of royalty or nobility, but they include the Plantagenets and are extensive enough that by my pedigree I would challenge this King for the English Throne. However I am bound to America and its Land and it's future Aristocracy by my birthday.

I’ve always been pro-monarchy, despite being Catholic. But if the King can swear a sacred oath before God and then reduce it to vague interfaith mush, the whole thing starts to look ridiculous. At this point, even monarchists can see the argument for a republic.

@AgrivarDragon It depends on what you want. AD&D is good if you want the classic feel. 3e is good if you want to control every aspect of your character. 5e is good if you hate classic fantasy. Harnmaster is good if you want to die of infection after cutting your finger peeling potatoes.

I have to laugh. Returned back to the TTRPG in late April. I have been equally judged by the current players and the old school players as well. Everyone’s version of Dungeons and Dragons is “the best.” I have decided to listen to opinions, but ultimately craft my own table. 5e has some great stuff. I have played AD&D and 2e, but that was decades ago. I have a couple systems coming this year. C&C in August and Rutiger’s Almanac at the end of the year. Then there are the non-fantasy games to consider. It’s interesting to see the passion in players for their choice in rules.

Or on the loudest voices, the worst headlines, and the actions of a minority? If millions of Muslims you've met are decent people, perhaps it's worth questioning whether your view is as informed as you think.

As Muslims, we’re really concerned about the arson attack at a mosque on Talbot Street, Dublin Ireland. While the mosque is on fire, a disgraceful Irish national shouts, “Go back to your f…..k country, we don’t want Islam in this country.” We hope he’s arrested….Islamophobia is a cancer spreading through Europe.

@TheBestqueenx I broke the couch and set the carpet on fire. Thought replacing the couch leg with a screwdriver and throwing a rug over the burn would work. My dad found the burned carpet first, as he was screaming he bumped the couch and it fell over. He was so shocked he stopped yelling.

When you learn the hard way that consequences are very much real. 😂
