Slutty Vegan owner Pinky Cole’s home in Loganville was seized by creditors after she filed for bankruptcy earlier this month, owing $1.2 million to the U.S. Small Business Administration and $192,000 to the Georgia Department of Revenue. According to court documents, Guardian Asset Management took control of the property on February 20, changed the locks, and posted a notice stating the home is under their management and cannot be entered until it’s offered for sale. Cole’s attorney, Jamie Christy, contacted Guardian, saying their actions violated the automatic bankruptcy stay and demanded the property be returned, also sending a formal letter the same day, but Guardian refused to comply.
