Curious for your thoughts on UFC Freedom 250 at the White House. The fights. The cultural impact. The politics. The lows. The highs. How this will be remembered. I soaked in as much as I could. Some of the spectacle was A+ and some made me cringe. Overall, it was a big UFC win.

You can see it in this clip, but Gane was extremely good all fight about tucking his chin behind his jabbing shoulder so Pereira couldn’t get the left hook off

@OpenNoteGrapple In my honest opinion he was not trying to finish the fight and used this to continue trying to make a moment for himself. He knew he had the fight won in the first 2 min. He was seeking a moment the entirety of the rest of the fight. Live I said “he’s not trying to finish that”

literally one of the worst arm bars you'll ever see 1 - why do you have a gable grip? 2 - pull the hand into the negative space, not onto your chest 3 - if you're going to cross your feet, the leg over the face has to be on bottom

I stand by this. While Topuria didn't lose to Gaethje because of size, it certainly didn't help.

Bad for Topuria and bad for the sport imo We need champions to stay in their division and fight contenders. If you weren't around for the era of Silva, GSP, Aldo, Jones, and DJ you don't really know what you missed out on.
