@HariSinghop They don't have any authority in Pakistan but I dare to say, the SGPC fails to protect Sikhs, Guridwaras in India. It's an elected body but suppressed by selfish Akalis, govt of India keeps attacking it, leaves nostone untured to defae it.

@Panthpritham SGPC is so disappointing. They have the funds to help Sikhs in Pakistan rebuild historic buildings but they won't.

The Sikh soldiers take pledge in presence of Sri Guru Granth Dahin ji and when army attacks the Gurudwaras with Tanks, how could Sikhs remain mute spectator?

Ma’am, what you are mentioning is not “remembering history” — this is manufacturing and promoting hatred. No credible record exists of Hindu soldiers stealing weapons from Sikh Light Infantry armories in Ferozepur/Ganganagar and framing Seetal Singh, Veer Singh or anyone else. What did happen in June 1984 (post-Blue Star) is that few Sikh soldiers mutinied in Ganganagar and other places, storming their own armouries and attempting to march to Amritsar. That was a tragic disciplinary crisis, not a Hindu conspiracy but we all have come past that era. Our Indian Army has always been secular — Sikhs, Hindus, Muslims and others have fought and bled together. Sikh regiments have written some of the most glorious chapters in our military history. Sikh gentlemen have held the appointment of the Chief of Army Staff and numerous other senior appointments/posts. Many sikh soldiers have been the proud of our Army and Nation. Please don't belittle all of them just for some views and likes over social media. Spreading such fake “Hindu vs Sikh” stories is an attempt to weaken the very institution that protects all of us. Let’s stop dividing jawans by religion. Jai Hind.
