As most of you know, I’ve been one of @DLHoskins biggest supporters, so it truly breaks my heart to post this, but the people of MO deserve the truth.  We have armed Secretary Hoskins to the teeth with everything he needs to fulfill his campaign promises, only to be met with obstruction and condescension from his office. Why? Is Missouri SOS and his "Election Integrity Director" @nicklastradaMO sabotaging election integrity and betraying the Grassroots that got him elected? Hi my #mmtlp frens! I don’t know y’all but from Robb, but definitely understand your fight with the government for years and your frustrations that come along with it. Robb and I have been in this very same kerfuffle you find yourself in now. There’s been many times he’s interviewed the same people that are fighting against those of us in the arena taking the hits. It does feel like platforming, It’s frustrating, I know. It feels like betrayal. However, from experience with Robb, I promise it’s not. While infuriating to us, what has happened during these interviews or debates is people slip, things are said that can, and are, being used in legal ways to advance the cause. It’s happened every time. Each time we get more and more info that we needed, but didn’t have. I respect y’all’s fight, because I see the same in myself, but I’ve come to understand Robb goes about things a little differently. We don’t always agree on it, but don’t give up on him too soon, it does bear fruit and he is a valuable asset to have….Promise! Go debate the shit outta them. Truth stands on its own!

Headline: Transparency Killed in the Dark? 🌑 We’ve been tracking SR 668, the rule that would finally require video feeds of Missouri Senate proceedings. But look at what happened when the resolution actually hit the floor for debate. The Maneuver: Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman interrupted the debate to move that the issue be tabled. Because an amendment was under consideration, she had to make two separate motions: 1️⃣ One to table the amendment. 2️⃣ One to table the entire debate on the rule. The Result: By "tabling" these items, the transparency rule is now effectively dead for the session. It would take a massive 2/3 vote to ever bring it back to the floor. The Blackout: 📹 We made a sunshine request for the video of this moment so everyone could see who is standing against transparency in the Senate. But watch what happens: As soon as the Senate moves to a Standing Division vote on these motions, the video feed goes pitch black. The audio remains. You can hear the count. You can hear the debate end. But you cannot see which Senators stood up to kill the transparency rule and which ones stood to save it. Why is the Senate cutting the feed during the most pivotal votes of the year? If they are proud of their vote to table transparency, why can't we see them do it? Is this what you voted for?
