@HesterPeirce statement is a huge validation. She just admitted the SEC spent years confused about 15c2-11’s scope and gave inconsistent guidance that harmed markets and investors. That gray zone is exactly what let MMTLP trade 14 months as a placeholder without proper 211/disclosures, then get U3-halted with zero transparency. 3+ years later and it’s still stonewalling everywhere: SEC complaints ignored, OIG/CIGIE filings went nowhere, FINRA rules bent, FOIAs obstructed or improperly closed despite thousands of emails/calls. Even Congress has weighed in. This ‘road wrongly taken’ created real victims. Time for the Commission to fix it full accounting, release the records and provide an audited, aggregated share count, and resolve the 65,000+ shareholders!
