For those with chronic reading comprehension difficulties: the point is not that the perpetrators of the attack were not Islamic terrorists, but rather that they received support, assistance and training from other organisations and countries, which were the masterminds behind the attack.

Neither Iran nor any Shiite group was involved in this terrorist attack. We would have to ask the French and Moroccan intelligence services what happened, as well as certain Spanish politicians who will take the secret to their graves. Twenty-two years have passed, and the only thing we know for sure is that the masterminds behind the attack were not a Islamist terrorist cell acting alone.

There are very few good English-language books on Iran. I recommend 'Going to Tehran' by two American scholars and former National Security Council officials. If US officials had listened to Flynt and Hillary Mann Leverett instead of Zionists, the US wouldn't be in this mess.
