Leverkusen have completely neutralised Diomande. This game confirms many things that I already suspected. He can't handle 2v1s consistently, his off the ball movement is poor, struggles with receiving the ball under pressure (always passing backwards when defenders press him)

Season 22/23 we lost 14 games reached 3rd round of lc fa cup. Last 16cl . 50% win from 52 games. This season CL QF FA QF 17 losses from 53 games 53% win rate. Not much difference. More issues to deal with this season imo
