@KristaDiamond I have never once been reimbursed for expenses. I also owned a company w thousands of 1099 contractors around the world & the moment you do, they become employees per IRS 20-pt checklist. As I said, genuine tax concerns around doing this.

The poverty threshold for San Diego is $13k. The actual income level at which you can survive in San Diego is $100k.
Poverty level is just means testing guardrails that minimize safety net payouts. I don’t think I’m the one uninformed here. But ok 👍

On this day in 2020, Breonna Taylor was killed by Louisville Metro Police Department officers after they forcibly entered her home. Although one of the officers responsible was eventually convicted of violating Taylor's civil rights, none were ever indicted for her murder.
As we take today to honor her memory, we also reflect on the struggle for justice that is as of yet unfinished. I’m praying for her family, friends, and loved ones today.
