Okla. Admin. Code § 710:50-15-2 - Application of the Oklahoma Individual Income Tax to Native Americans.
This is how Oklahoma tax code already acknowledges how Natives can be tax exempt:
(b) Instances in which income is exempt. The income of an enrolled member of a federally recognized Indian tribe shall be exempt from Oklahoma individual income tax when:
(1) The member is living within "Indian Country" under the jurisdiction of the tribe to which the member belongs; and, the income is earned from sources within "Indian Country" under the jurisdiction of the tribe to which the member belongs; or,
(2) The income is compensation paid to an active member of the Armed Forces of the United States, if the member was residing within his tribe's "Indian Country" at the time of entering the Armed Forces of the United States, and the member has not elected to abandon such residence.

People forget that tribes operate under the federal umbrella, not the state.

But this isn’t quite right. In this particular case, Stroble didn’t meet the three prong test to be tax exempt. Under Oklahoma Administration Code 710:50-15-2, tribal members can already be tax exempt. This was adopted in 2004, which was an alignment from the SCOTUS case Oklahoma Tax Commission v. Sac & Fox Nation. This wasn’t the state authorizing, but the state forming a rule on how to deal with federal law.

Oklahoma here is an important race not getting much attention. Not only do we need the most conservative governor we need the most conservative state superintendent who isn't afraid of taking on the teachers union. I don't know much about any of them but we don't want a Democrat fighting our governor every step of the way and John Cox running as a Republican was the Democrat nominee for this same position just a few cycles ago. There is still time for someone else to jump in today. Any thoughts?

@NancyTa14890840 @MinerBob00 John Cox is a solid choice, and I supported him against Joy, but Cox doesn’t have the momentum to win the primary. What can’t happen is Pugh win the primary. Just a few short months to get this cleared up in order to get a solid candidate across the line.

When I see videos like this, it reminds me that our thinking in this country has become antithetical to reality. I grew up poor, ate plenty of beans. My mother would make chili beans that would last a week. I miss those days. I also suck at making beans. 😂
