@Elisabray I have 2 children, neither are able to access mainstream. Both have been consistently let down. Our family barely functions, we survive. My mental health is destroyed. I have so little energy to fight but what else do we have….

@_LisaCherry Diagnosed this week, spent over 50 years trying to figure out what was ‘wrong’ because that’s how it’s always felt. Also autistic. Late diagnosis there too. New way of being from now on. Knowledge is power. Hopefully……

I hate when people honor others who were in undeniable pain and talk about how brave it was that no one ever knew. They didn’t know because the person didn’t think it was safe to speak their truth. Suffering in silence isn’t brave, it’s a gateway to a deeper hell.
