@NateHB13 @adhdjesse lol that’s me! I run a team where every 6 months I have to send 6-8 people running all over 4 sites to do quick presentations. It’s challenging to schedule so I decided I needed a *superschedulerprogram* and after working on that for days I decided to just use outlook 🤦‍♀️

@adhdjesse Sometimes it helps to decide to "do it the hard way" instead of overthinking what things aren't in place (environment, tools, energy etc) as an excuse. Our brains like a challenge and sometimes doing the task "the hard way" is a good trick to build momentum.

What’s your favorite counterintuitive ADHD tip? So much of what works for us is almost the complete opposite of most neurotypical advice. You need to _embrace_ the things that are fun and interesting, not try focus on the hard stuff first.

Really proud of this manager - I’ve told this story before but back when I worked at Officeworks Hornsby we all refused to print any anti same-sex marriage materials during the plebiscite. This wasn’t an officeworks position, but Officeworks knows that the print and copy section is the closest you can come to hell on earth within an officeworks. If they fired all the print and copy staff the various Officeworks locations would grind to a halt. Customers can’t force workers to print whatever they’d like. Also that red key on their pocket opens everything in the store lol.
