Hook protocol on Uniswap V4

ERC-8004 has really been a great success on Ethereum. Since its launch on mainnet in late January, it has pulled these numbers: > 77,000+ agents registered onchain. > 56,000+ feedback items recorded immutably. > 63,000+ users across Ethereum, Base, and Celo. And now it released 34 resources you can use to explore, build, and deploy with ERC-8004. For learning it deeply: > 8004/./org is the official hub. Start here. > For breakdown and knowing better, subscribe to @VittoStack. For building fast: > @PhalaNetwork's TEE guide on how to deploy in 5 minutes. > @pinatacloud's IPFS's guide on how to register your agent > @MetaMask did a server wallet tutorial for agents > ag0 SDK by @agent0lab on registration, building and reputation For discovery and marketplace: > 8004Scan for browsing trending agents, reviews, and leaderboards. > Supermission by @missiondotfun > AiMo Network where every agent transaction builds onchain reputation using ERC-8004. These are the resources you need to get on ERC-8004. All of them did good justice to building, deploying and exploring with ease. Ethereum is really positioning itself and its ecosystem for agentic economy. Good stuff.

Then came v4 (2025), and this is where things get exciting. Hooks let anyone write smart contracts that modify pool behavior (before swaps, after swaps, on liquidity changes) without forking a single line of Uniswap's core code. As @TomWade puts it: "This allows anyone effectively to create derivative decentralized exchanges on Uniswap without needing to fork entire codebases. As a builder, it really supercharges us, gives us all of these extra layers of functionality that we never had before." Add in flash accounting, a singleton architecture, native ETH support, and ERC6909, and the gas savings alone are massive.

🚨 V4 Swap Router by z0r0z has been hacked for 42k USDC It seems like the vulnerability was in this assembly block. Where an attacker passed a valid calldata that allowed him to drain the victims wallet that had approved the router.
