It took Hamas years & billions of dollars to build their terror tunnel network. Imagine what Gaza could have been had that effort and money been spent on infrastructure, agriculture, services, education for the population. Israel continues (and must continue) to destroy the tunnels, one by one.

This is the Equality Act in a changing room. The protected characteristics provisions in the 2010 Act make it legally uncertain whether schools can maintain single-sex spaces. The guidance is contradictory. Schools face litigation if they exclude and litigation if they do not. A teacher was professionally barred for refusing to use preferred pronouns. The statute has created a legal environment in which safeguarding girls is a legal risk. This school is not being radical. It is asking the High Court to clarify what the Equality Act actually requires because the statute itself is incoherent. The post-1997 legislative settlement dismantled the common sense framework and replaced it with a compliance culture that no institution can navigate without a lawyer. Repeal the Equality Act. Replace it with a framework that protects children first.

Well done to this brave father and daughter. Shameful that Labour run Brighton & Hove Council is refusing to apply the law that men don’t belong in women’s only spaces. A 15 year old boy should not be in a changing room with a girl. It’s disgusting. He needs mental health support, not affirmation.
