Brighton win on and off the pitch. Yes, a great 2-1 win against Newcastle — but an even bigger victory came before kick-off. Today we hosted the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance at the Amex to teach fans CPR for National Restart a Heart Day. We also officially opened the Douglas Chamberlain Medical Room — the new name for the North Stand First Aid Room, home to the brilliant St John team who have saved seven lives using CPR and defibrillation since the Amex opened. It all began with Douglas Chamberlain, who brought the first defibrillator into a football stadium back in the 1970s — and inspired generations to save lives. One incredible legacy. Brighton & Hove Albion FC — winning with an amazing team, on and off the pitch.
