Someone goes there under the influence of drugs, clearly not in his right mind, record by someone and you call that “content.” If he were using his own resources, he would not be doing such things. This campaign you are involved in will not be successful. You are misleading and exploiting young people by promising them unrealistic and intangible benefits. Just like what is happening now this Badrama will use all the comments he has received because of these statements and turn them into an opportunity to claim, “You see, I can’t return to Rwanda.” And then the rest of you operating online under your so-called government will keep promising people positions in government. As for him, perhaps the only role he can play is producing songs, because there seems to be nothing else he can genuinely contribute. Honestly, after watching the video Badrama made apart from shouting and creating noise, what meaningful message did you take from it? Wasn’t he simply repeating the same usual narratives that many of you have already turned into songs? What was obvious is that this was a scripted production. He clearly had people directing him during the shooting.

Kagame’s regime may resort to killing, kidnapping, and arbitrary arrests, but it must recognize that freedom of speech is a fundamental human right. No level of repression will ever succeed in silencing an entire nation. On the morning of February 1, 2026, Jean de Dieu Ihorahabona - a father of five known to friends as Jado - kissed his family goodbye and left his home in Kinyinya. His destination was Inyange Girls School in @rulindodistrict, where one of his children was waiting for his visit but he never arrived. The last person to see Jado free was another parent who shared a taxi with him that morning. This eyewitness - who has testified to both @Rwandapolice and the family's lawyer - watched as three men identifying themselves as police officers called Jado by name near the school gates. They placed him into their vehicle. That was 8:45 a.m. By midday, Jado's phones went silent. Then came the messages - strange texts sent from his phone claiming he had crossed into Uganda and would postpone his scheduled meetings in Kigali. His family knew immediately that this wasn't Jado. These weren't his plans. What followed has been a nightmare of contradictions. The family reported his disappearance to the @RIB_Rw at Rwezamenyo Station. Not there. They visited other police stations. Nothing. At Kimironko Police Station, officers told the family that Jado was being held there. They asked the family to bring hygiene materials for him. When the family returned with supplies, they were told he wasn't there after all. After reporting this contradiction to RIB Headquarters, the family was instructed to return to Kimironko Police Station to review detention registers. When records from February 1-7, 2026 were examined, Jado's name appeared nowhere. The silence is deafening. No official arrest. No charges. No confirmation. This is not the first time. In November 2022, Jado was reportedly detained for three days before being released. What had he done? He had spoken publicly about the forced evictions in Kangondo and Kibiraro - about families displaced from their homes, their futures uncertain. On February 2, 2026 - one day after his disappearance - Jado was scheduled to meet with @RwandaOmbudsman. He never made it. According to multiple sources, his disappearance was ordered by CP Ruzigamanzi Egide. Today is February 15. Jado has been missing for two weeks. His five children are asking where their father is. His community is asking. His lawyer is asking. We are also asking "Where is Jean de Dieu Ihorahabona?" A father belongs with his family. Every person deserves to be accounted for.

But honestly, when will you stop engaging in these petty games? I use to see you running to meaningful forums claiming to be an investigative journalist. And now you say you have “investigated” this?
