I got married at 28. If I had known the things I know now, wallahi I’d have entered into it by 25 years or below. Early marriage is something most people are missing on. It has a lot of advantages.
Hardcore Realist@shaunjohhn

We rush people into marriage by 25-30 like it’s a deadline. Result? Half the couples fighting on Twitter or quietly miserable. Maybe we should normalize marrying when actually ready instead of when society says so.

A Nigerian Earning ₦60 Thousand Now is Better Off Than a Nigerian Who Japa Five Years Ago — Presidential Aide, Daniel Bwala Special adviser to the president on media and policy communications, Daniel Bwala has said that many Nigerians who moved abroad in search of greener pastures are facing harsh economic realities despite holding advanced degrees. Speaking on The Morayo Show, Bwala said some Nigerians in the United Kingdom are working jobs that do not match their educational qualifications. “Some of you in Nigeria who think you are suffering, you’re better off than your colleagues that japa five years ago,” Bwala said. He described the situation as a form of modern-day exploitation, noting that many degree holders end up working in care homes and warehouses. “As far as I am concerned, it is modern-day slavery,” he stated. According to him, although workers may earn about £2,600 to £2,800 monthly, most of the income is spent on rent, utilities, internet, transportation, and feeding, leaving little savings. “At the end of the day, what you are left with is not much. So you are forced to do two or three jobs,” he said. Bwala argued that a Nigerian earning ₦60,000 locally could still benefit from family support and lower living costs compared to someone struggling abroad. “That ₦60,000 earner can still get support from family and friends, while many abroad have nobody to fall back on,” he added. He also defended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s social intervention policies, citing the 50 percent subsidy on dialysis in federal hospitals and the provision of free cesarean sections in public health facilities. “President Bola Tinubu introduced 50 percent subsidy on dialysis in federal hospitals, and cesarean section has been made free in public hospitals,” Bwala said. He added that the administration hopes to expand healthcare support to more services and prescription drugs as government resources improve.

@PeterObi I don't think everything should be on emotions, Mallam El rufai should face the for whatever offense he committed. A country guided by law should be operate by law not by individuals emotions.

A Wife’s Tears, A Nation’s Conscience: Let Justice Have a Heart. I woke this morning in America and was deeply moved by an emotional viral video of Hajiya Asiya El-Rufai, prompting deep reflection on our nation’s future. Regardless of the allegations against Mallam Nasir El-Rufai or any other citizen, justice must be transparent and fair, with reasonable bail conditions that should not be seen as punitive before trial. In a democracy governed by the rule of law, institutions exist to protect every citizen's rights, regardless of their background. We must resist any hint of selective justice that erodes public trust and threatens national unity. Those tasked with enforcing our laws must act professionally and strictly follow due process. Let us strive for a Nigeria where the law is paramount, and where every citizen is guaranteed dignity and justice. This is the foundation of the New Nigeria we envisage. -PO

There is no ethnic group in the whole world that gives birth to millions of children & abandon them in the streets the way Hausa people do. We have the worst number of child neglect in the world despite being so called “Religious Muslims”.

Why not tender your resignation letter tomorrow?😂 Or is it not the appropriate thing to do? As a professional, you know the salary they're giving you and the conditions you're working in is laughable and substandard But you keep accepting it... WHY?
Abdull Ibrahim, MD@Yantumakii

I doubt if they ever wonder on the implication of accepting these band aid’s approaches as solutions to our systemic issues. Some laymen can accept it, b/cox they do not know better. However, a professional? Haba mana. We all know what’s appropriate to do. Why not just demand?

MAAUN Scandal Rocks Northwest University! 🔥 The HOD of History and International Studies at Northwest University (formerly Yusuf Maitama University) a visiting lecturer at MAAUN (Mariam Abacha American Nigerian University) was beaten mercilessly by an angry husband. Why? He kept rejecting the man’s wife’s project for the past 2 years, then demanded to have an affair with her in exchange for approval. The MAAUN student exposed him, told her husband, and they set the trap. He showed up for the meet-up… and received the beating of his life! Credit IG : madam_korede
