The rich 'buy low'. Then, the rich leech wealth away as the poor try to rebuild their lives. And repeat.

@JohnOlthuis @sarobertsonca Not just that, but the companies themselves don't necessarily want to rapidly increase supply. Look at their reluctance to 'fix' Venezuela's oil infrastructure. To force them to increase, P.P. would need to nationalize the oil industry in Canada.

Calling all countries north of the equator part of a US perimeter sounds like the US is trying to establish its hegemonic position, not based on allies but on hierarchical security relationships and policy alignment expectations. China and Russia are both north of the equator, and neither is willing to give up its respective security perimeters.

He condemns Israel for an "illegal invasion,” condemning the Jewish State for defending itself from Hezbollah - a Canadian-listed terror entity raining rockets on Israeli civilians. Yesterday, four Israeli soldiers were killed in Lebanon by that same terror group. Not a single word of recognition for the soldiers killed by terrorists. Not a single word for the families still living under cluster bombs and ballistic missiles. Not a word for a people and their state living under hellfire and hate. It is a reoccurring pattern with this Liberal government. The Prime Minister gets it exactly wrong: Extending one hand of friendship to our enemies, while slapping our friends in the face with the other one.
