@UltraRunner26 Already some good answers on the best age. In short, wait as long as possible. And when your kids say, "EVERYONE else has one." Replace EVERY with SOME. There are plenty of families out there trying to be a bit counter cultural, whether phones or other.

What age did you all give your kid a cell phone? I don't want to be too early or too late, if you know what I mean.

@BDTH21 Optimizing is literally opposite your handle and preferred style of play, but finding a way to milk that game is worth some serious money. It'll be interesting to see if they continue to let you play.

So upon tinkering more on CVData, this game that has an edge off the top is worth $930 an hour instead of $950 an hour, if I just play basic strategy instead of keeping the count for playing decisions. So in conclusion, I will just table hop when ever the dealer goes to shuffle, increasing rounds per hour. This will probably end up getting EV around $1200 an hour just by playing basic strategy. 🤣 All at 2x200 🤯 Hopefully they keep letting me play!

@BDTH21 Obviously, this is not an easy decision with many factors to consider. But my wife & I are almost always more conservative in our decision-making involving our kids. One answer may work if it were just her and I, but we may arrive at another answer when it involves the kids.

I’ve got a question for you guys. If you were aboard in todays geopolitical climate that’s been brewing up rapidly, and you were in areas where you almost never heard other American accents, with a toddler that only talks at top volume, would you feel like a target to the point where it would cause enough safety concern to return to the states? My wife and I keep going back and forth with this, and we can’t tell if we are being paranoid, or if we are being practical.
