Just went through her IG stories. This is insanely heartbreaking, wtf!?!? The justice system is failing this lady. How can four police cases she’s opened go unanswered? Extremely unacceptable @SAPoliceService ‼️‼️‼️

Anything other than a statement from SAPS confirming an arrest, would not derail efforts against GBV but further attest to a systematic failure! Not after 4 cases were opened. S’khathele hama RIP Hashtags! #CountryDuty @SAPoliceService ‼️‼️‼️‼️

[UNDER INVESTIGATION] The matter is being treated with the requisite urgency. The GBVF case opened by the victim on 10 January is receiving attention at senior management level. Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi has requested an immediate report from the station concerned regarding the failure to effect an arrest within two days of the case being registered and is awaiting feedback. @SAPoliceService

Woman pleads for help after alleged police Inaction In a series of desperate social media posts shared today, a woman named Snenhlanhla Nenezane has detailed repeated and brutal assaults by a man she is dating, alleging that systemic failures have left her unprotected and her cries for help ignored. The posts describe harrowing incidents of violence. “Last night he kicked me countless times on my head and I lay there helpless asking for him to forgive me for whatever I ever did to him,” Nenezane wrote in one message. In another, she stated, “I was assaulted again last night and I called the police but no one... came to my rescue.” Her frustration is compounded by official correspondence from the South African Police Service (SAPS). SMS records show that while cases were registered at Durban Central and Lamontville police stations in September and October 2025, one was closed after “all leads were followed up,” and another was referred for a prosecution decision. Nenezane’s stark summary accompanies these messages: “These are all the case numbers but no arrest.” The alleged perpetrator appears to be identifiable from her social network, listed as “Andile Junior Junior” from Umlazi, Durban. In one of her most poignant posts, Nenezane asked: “What do I need to do or say to make everyone see that this is a cry for help?”
