Great deep dive from @remybecher at @TheEconomist: "SpokenLayer actually does this all for you. You send them the content, and they integrate it onto the platforms. At a very low cost, smaller newsrooms can develop skills for basic content consumption." bit.ly/2Trxv0M

But I've always wanted audio versions of text content to be free...not screen-read, but human read. I think that we're a long way away from AI and voice software being able to read things naturally. But that just isn't possible if you're paying professional readers.

@noahchestnut @audmapp @SpokenLayer Yea, several people have suggested this to me too. I tried it last year for a few weeks, but may consider again. Business Wars Daily does something similar. ~3-5min episodes Mon-Fri

🎙️ Ben Thompson just launched a daily audio version of his subscription newsletter! That's great! Since a lot of folks either study and/or emulate his model, I'll offer a few unnecessary thoughts 🤔 stratechery.com/2020/the-daily…

That’s what we’re here for! Happy and excited to help any publisher get into or scale up their audio game!

@audmapp @SpokenLayer ~now it's time for speculation corner~ If Ben Thompson's finds success in his daily audio update, how will others try to learn from this (and imitate him)?
