This form of stealing work is out of hand. Here’s how they do it: They’ll post the work of someone else without crediting the originating source in the first tweet. They think they save themselves by hiding the credit in the comments, knowing most won’t see it. But when someone comments praising them for the work, they’ll say “thanks” despite the fact it’s not even theirs. These posts are literally EVERYWHERE right now.

Am I the only one getting targeted by scammers or other design agencies? I get at least 2–3 DMs from scammers on Telegram every day, and sometimes they even book calls directly. Any other designers dealing with this too?

@oykun I keep it to 3 active client projects max at a time. Any more and you start slipping.

@adriankuleszo This is why the people starting today are going to struggle. It’s all about the tools and keeping up. Haven’t seen a single post on design fundamentals in over a year.

If AI can design a website in seconds now why bother learning design fundamentals. Because if you understand the "why" behind your decisions you will outperform everyone who just "knows" the tools. And it's not even close. I use AI daily, don't get me wrong, I fcking love AI, but it only accelerates whatever you already know. Strong fundamentals + AI = dangerous. No fundamentals + AI = mediocre slop, just created faster.
