I feel the need to speak out about this. As a psychiatrist, I have worked with this population of homeless people, who abuse drugs, in the past. I tried my best and worked very hard to help. Spencer Pratt is 100% correct. The reality is that 95%+ of homeless people are violent drug addicts who do not want help. It is great to be compassionate, but it is harmful to hard-working people to be stupid and allow the issue to continue. They do not need beds. They need mandatory treatment and to be locked away in a treatment center or jail!
